Being single, I have a lot of left over foods. I have used this canister for storing lettuce. The lettuce has stayed as fresh as the day I bought it for almost 2 weeks in the container. All of the other comtainers made by Foodsaver are also GREAT!! Would recommend these items to anyone.

This canister is ideal for storing pastas, grains, crackers, dried beans and more.For use with any FoodSaver machine that has an accessory port, this plastic canister stores fruits and vegetables, dry goods like beans and coffee, and baking supplies such as flour and sugar, and keeps them fresh after air has been vacuumed out by the machine. The canister holds 4 quarts and is dishwasher-safe (though the lid is not).
