Bags as advertized. I have used a couple generic versions of these bags in the past and they work fine too. Not too sure the brand-name bag is any better and they are more expensive. I've not had any problem with generic bags and will probably go back to using them. I just don't see enough difference. A good machine will seal both well. If you do lots of sealing, I might go with the cheaper bag to hold down on cost
