The lids on these are difficult to close -- you have to close both sides at the same time, and one of them cracked (as one of my round canisters also cracked) for no apparent reason. I never even put it in the dishwasher. I love my Foodsaver, but I wish I never bought these canisters. Stick with the bags and the mason jar sealers -- they work great!
